In a bizarre partnership that breaks conventional expectations, the game developer has announced an virtual crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the popular anime series Attack on Titan. The unexpected Thanksgiving event operates from November 25 through December 22, providing complimentary extra story content for Shadows players.
Peculiar Questline Uncovered
According to the official release, "A strange meeting draws characters Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh mission, where hints of prohibited practices and fearsome metamorphoses reverberate through the darkness." The narrative features a "strangely garbed woman named Ada" who tasks the pair with traveling into the Crystalline Cavern—a key location from Attack on Titan—to save her ally from a clandestine group.
The questline concentrates on "strange experiments and a fearsome adversary" and is available to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.
Iconic Locations and Metamorphoses
The teaser highlights the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This important location was formerly where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through generations. The preview finishes with a dramatic sequence showing a character, presumably the prisoner, morphing into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.
Unique Items and Additional Features
Players who finish the mission will receive an exclusive katana alongside multiple objects secreted throughout the area in concealed chests. The update also contains premium Attack on Titan item packs, including:
- Titan-inspired outfit for Yasuke
- Mikasa outfit for Naoe

This release also introduces the game's latest no-cost story content, titled "The Enigma."
